The unique property of liquid crystal has been discovered by human beings hundreds years ago. However, it had been almost one century until this type of molecular was applied into display manufacture. That means how liquid crystal display works was once a universal confusion before people finally recognized it. To explain how LCD works, it is essential for us to have the cognition about the constitution of LCD. Two transparent electrodes, usually made with Indium Tin Oxide (ITO), are needed to conduct electric.
